  • TruBarre Barre Lean Conditioning System | Classes now running!

Ballerinas may perform on a stage floor, but their bodies are shaped, toned, elongated and strengthened at a Bar also known as a Barre. Barre workouts are now the most common exercise class among celebrities who want to be long and slim. Ballerinas have used the principles of eccentric contractions, body weight resistance and static stretching to get their gorgeous, strong and graceful bodies for centuries. Unlike many current exercise approaches, genuine barre sequences warm and construct the body from the bottom up, increasing movement, resistance and flexibility and the sequence progresses. Barre sequencing strengthens peripheral muscle groups, increases balance and regards the body's core at the base of the spine as opposed to the midsection.

  • Women's Divorce Group

Psychologist Dr. Deborah Gilman is now offering a monthly divorce group designed specifically for women. Obtaining support during a divorce has several benefits. Women who take advantage of legal support are usually more able to make educated, intelligent decisions in the court proceedings. Women who take advantage of the emotional support offered by therapists and support groups may find that they are able to maintain a healthy emotional and personal balance during the course of the divorce case, according to the American Bar Association Section of Family Law. Because of the legal and emotional complexities associated with the marriage dissolution, women put their rights and personal welfare at risk by avoiding professional and other types of support.

The goals of this group are to:
    • Help individuals regain emotional autonomy.
    • Mitigate the debilitating aspects of divorce.
    • Have a place to safely discharge some of the emotionality of divorce.
    • Develop a broader concept of divorce.
    • Meet new friends in a meaningful way.
    • Learn coping mechanisms.
